Despite all being well, I had trouble with persistent anxiety this week. There was nothing new to cause this, although maybe my solicitor had a hand in it.
Smartened myself up with a campsite haircut and had my first taste of rain since 4th May. Impressive (and thankfully!) horizontal lightening streaked across the sky, and we had about 3 hours of light rain.
Most of the people I met have gone home, so I need to recruit new ones! I spent this morning exploring two new beaches, Alvor and Vau. Beautiful vistas as you can see from the photos – and had lunch in a restaurant tucked into the rocks on Alvor beach.
Question going round my head – could I live here for a year? Sandra and I had a dream to live by the sea somewhere, and this is definitely the place to make the dream happen.
This week I saw three shows; Dragon Legacy – my absolute favourite – I “shazamed” all their music into a playlist; also saw a new dance show “White Glam”, and Moulin Rouge once more. If I had family here, then it would be perfect but life is about compromises and making things happen rather than waiting. XX
