Luz Beach Cafe – our kinda place.

We came to this cafe 3-4 times per week for coffee, tea and to share the famous lemon drizzle cake. I passed the clinic where Sandra had all her blood tests and her infamous appendectomy diagnosis.

So, this was bloody tough but I had to do it. I waited for a table and a lady customer came up to me and offered me her table as she was leaving. When she said “have a great day” – I just blurted out my reason for being there. She took my arm and told me to remember all the great times. I just thought, I cannot see the good times through the heavy, opaque, black curtain of loss.

But, I toasted her and looked at the empty seat beside me. Sorry, I am just saying how I felt.

Day 13 and I am amazed at the continuous blue sky and the heat, maybe nature is trying to help me. I did a stretching class at 09:00 and even then it was too hot. Went to Luz, made lunch back in the camp and then spent 3 hours with techies trying to get my trading to work. Made €44 in one trade. Then to the gym for an hour. I am hurting from places I don’t even have!

Cooked dinner about 20:30 (I have done four dinners in a row!!) – I am keeping it very simple as really I am not in the mood. Oh, also listened to an Audible book Ben gave me called “Letting Go”. Love you both – and those who love you.
